Material properties

KJG a.s. is a multimetallic company that uses high quality materials for processing. In its portfolio, it has seven basic materials plus painted sheets in more than 40 colour versions. The exclusive suppliers of materials are European companies that meet all the required standards. This guarantees high quality of raw materials and is a prerequisite for high quality standards of KJG a.s.

Stainless steel is an alloy of iron, chromium and sometimes of nickel and other metals that has excellent corrosion resistance. The use of stainless steel is relatively recent and really started to develop in the 1920s. The principle of iron and chromium alloying dates from 1821, but only in 1904 it was found that the presence of chromium prevents corrosion. Non-corroding steel sheet is made of high-quality stainless steel. In construction, stainless steel sheets are used not only for its attractive appearance but also for its long durability, its ecological safety and its high resistance to corrosion. Its properties predetermine it for versatile use. Work with this material is possible even at low temperatures.
